Jika kamu memancing ikan....
setelah ikan itu terlekat dimata kail hendaklah kamu mengambil terus ikan itu. Janganlah sesekali kamu lepaskan ia semula ke dalam air begitu sahaja kerana ia akan sakit oleh bisa dan ketajaman mata kailmu dan mungkin akan menderita selagi ia masih hidup.

Apabila sekali ia retak tentu sukar untuk kamu menampalnya semula...akhirnya ia dibuang. Sedangkan jika kamu cuba membaikinya mungkin ia masih boleh digunakan lagi...

Begitu juga jika kamu memiliki seseorang terimalah seadanya. Janganlah kamu terlalu mengaguminya dan janganlah kamu menganggapnya begitu istimewa, anggaplah dia manusia biasa. Apabila sekali dia melakukan kesilapan bukan mudah bagi kamu untuk menerimanya. Akhirnya kamu kecewa dan meninggalkannya. Sedangkan jika kamu memaafkannya boleh jadi hubungan kamu akan berterusan hingga keakhirnya...

Jika kamu telah memiliki sepinggan nasi, yang kamu pasti baik untuk dirimu. Mengenyangkan. Berkhasiat. Mengapa kamu berlengah, cuba mencari makanan yang lain. Terlalu ingin mengejar kelazatan. Kelak, nasi itu akan basi dan kamu tidak boleh memakannya. Kamu akan menyesal.

Iklan dari rumah ke rumah..apa pendapat anda?

Pengiklanan dari rumah ke rumah atau pun orang2 yg datang untuk menjual barang2 seperti kerepek..kueh-mueh..mahu pun pengutipan derma. Ini sering kita alami ketika kita berada di rumah. Mereka sering datang membawa barangan jualan mereka dan dgn bermacam2 cara mereka cuba memujuk kita supaya membeli barangan yg mereka bawa.

Aku tidak marah sekiranye kedatangan mereka sekadar untuk berniaga semata2. Dan insyallah sekiranye barangan yg mereka jual itu sangat2 aku inginkan...why not? Aku dgn iklas akan membelinye. Begitu juga dgn pendermaan dan dll. Baru2 ni dirumahku ada didatangi seorang lelaki berbangsa indian-muslim. Selepas memberi salam, beliau mengenalkan dirinye yg kononnye dtg dari negara jauh, iaitu Kashmir. Beliau mengeluarkan beberapa naskah kitab2 agama seperti...surah yassin...al-quran kecil dan ayat2 suci yg lain.

Aku yg sedang mengemas, attend lah kat mamat india ni sekejap. Beliau pun bercerita tentang negerinye yg susah, tentang anak2 yatim yg memerlukan bantuan dan kanak2 kecil yg terpaksa berkerja utk membantu keluarga mereka. Kemudian aku pun bertanya...

Aku: "How much is the book? "(aku bertanyakan harga kitab al-quran kecil).

Mamat India: "Masyallah sister, I don't sell the book. I come to help the children. They're so small and young and have to go to work and make all the 'blanket'."

Aku: "Oh...sorry!" (aku ingat aku sudah offend ni mamat dgn bertanyakan harga kitab tersebut. Dlm hati berkata, mungkin apa yg dimaksudkan ialah..jualannye ini 'ikhlas' tanpa meletakkan sebarang harga).

Aku: "So, you don't sell this?"

Mamat India: "No...just for the kids who make the 'blanket'."

Aku: "So this has no price, and I can give how much I have...ikhlas?"

Mamat India: "No...(sambil mengelengkan kepalanye)...they are for the kids."

Aku: "Okay..." (aku pun masuk ke bilik mengambil duit sebanyak $4.00). Ini aje yg tinggal pd aku kerana sebelumnye duit $10.00 tu dah aku gunakan utk pasar. Bila aku hulurkan pd mamat india tu beliau berkata...

Mamat India: "No, sister...this is for the children. They make the 'blanket' and they need money to eat."

Aku: "Ya...you said ikhlas and this is ikhlas from me. If not $4.00 then how much?"

Mamat India: "$10.00 for the 'blanket'. They are poor and small."

Aku: "I asked you how much is the book...you said you don't sell it. Ikhlas. So, I give you $4.00 b'coz this is what I have left with me. I don't have much and this sincere and ikhlas from me."

Aku terkejut sekejap. I mean..bukankah kitab yg beliau jual tu tidak ditaruhkan harga. Katanye ikhlas..dan aku juga ikhlas memberi. Aku pun menerangkan pd nye.

Mamat India tu mati2 tak mahu ambil duit $4.00 dari aku dan tetap mengatakan $10.00 buat duit 'blanket'. Aku tak faham??? Katanye juga menjual kitab dan ayat2 dan beliau juga tidak menaruh harga utk barang2 beliau tapi kenapa pula minta $10.00 buat duit 'blanket'? Beliau juga dtg menjual ayat dan bukan 'blanket'...betol tak? So aku nk kena bayar duit 'blanket' ke kitab? Aku terus jadi fed-up dan berkata...

Aku: "Ok...I tell you what, I don't have much with me. I give you $4.00 and you can take back the book."

Beliau menganggukkan kepalanye dan membaca doa dihadapan pintu rumahku dan terus berlalu.

Aku tak faham sekejap. Apakah ini satu helah atau penipuan? Memang aku ikhlas dgn peberianku itu tapi bukankah dgn cara sebegini juga boleh menimbulkan 'dosa'..kemarahan dan sebagainye?!

My opinion: Sesuatu yg diberikan selalunye ikhlas. Memberi dan membeli selalunye mengikut kemampuan/kehendak masing2. Sesuatu yg dikatakan ikhlas juga tiada ketetapan harga. Begitu juga dgn yg memberi (ikhlas hati mereka dan mengikut kemampuan diri). Tapi kenapa sampai macam ni? Meletak harga pd barangan jualan mereka? (yg dikatakan...penjualan ikhlas). Seperti menjual sekotak korma dgn harga $12.00. Kalender dgn harga $10.00. Dan ayat2 yg dikatakan penjualan ikhlas tetapi meminta $10.00.

A New Danger In School - Pls Read For Your Kids Sake!!!

This is a new drug known as 'strawberry quick'

There is a very scary thing going on in the schools right now that we all need to be aware of.
There is a type of crystal meth going around that looks like strawberry pop rocks (the candy that sizzles and 'pops' in your mouth). It also smells like strawberry and it is being handed out to kids in school yards . They are calling it strawberry meth or strawberry quick. Kids are ingesting this thinking that it is candy and being rushed off to emergency in dire condition. It also comes in chocolate, peanut butter, cola, cherry, grape and orange.
Please instruct your children to not accept candy from strangers and even not to accept candy that looks like this from a friend (who may have been given it and believe it is candy) and to take any that they may have to a teacher, principal, etc. immediately.

PS: PLEASE BE WARY AND WARN YOUR KIDS (BESIDES SHARING WITH OTHER PARENTS)... Pass this to as many people as you can (even if they don't have kids) so that we can raise awareness and hopefully prevent any tragedies from occurring.
